4/26/06 - LTD Ceramics, FerroTec, in
new Joint Venture
LTD Ceramics is proud to announce the formation of an important new partnership.
Spring 2006 marks the
culmination of more than 2 1/2 years of planning and
cooperation between FerroTec and LTD Ceramics. A
new joint venture called Advanced Ceramic Materials (ACM),
based in Hangzhou, China, will focus on identifying new
global market opportunities for high-purity alumina, while
also providing an important presence as a supplier to
high-technology industry in Asia. ACM will also enable LTD
Ceramics to provide its US-based customers numerous new
oxide and non-oxide ceramic materials, while broadening
LTD's customer base in Asia for its high quality alumina
components.
In addition, LTD Ceramics has signed a sales and marketing agreement with Mitsui for sales support and enhanced customer service in the Asian Pacific region.
After two decades of
supplying high-purity ceramic components to a variety of
high-technology industries, LTD Ceramics is excited to usher
in a new era with its new partners FerroTec and Mitsui.
